1. What ABC is
Always Book Chamber ("ABC") is community booking infrastructure offered by local Chambers of Commerce. Residents describe a need, ABC qualifies it and connects the resident with a participating Chamber member. Residents never pay, and members never pay per lead. This policy explains what information ABC collects and how it is used.
2. Information residents provide
When a resident describes a need, ABC collects the details of the request (the type of work, location, timing and any follow-up answers), plus the contact information needed to complete a booking — typically a name and phone number, and an email address if provided.
Requests are used only to qualify the need and connect the resident with a participating member. ABC does not sell resident data, does not use it for advertising, and does not share it with anyone other than the member who accepts the job and the Chamber operating the service.
3. Information members and Chambers provide
Chambers submit their member directories so ABC can maintain member profiles. For each member business, this typically includes the business name, trade, address, phone, email, service areas and operating hours.
Members who opt in to bookings provide dispatch preferences (Lead Windows, contact channel) so ABC knows when and how to reach them. Chamber leadership and member staff accounts use email addresses and passwords (or magic links) solely to sign in to their own dashboards.
Chamber and member data is never sold and is never shared across Chambers. Each Chamber sees only its own directory and activity.
4. Information collected during signup and testing
If you request a demo or sign in for a trial, ABC keeps the contact details you provide so the team can follow up. Payment for Chamber subscriptions is processed by our payment processor; ABC does not store card numbers.
5. How ABC communicates
Residents receive booking confirmations by email when an appointment is confirmed. Members receive job details and dispatch offers by email, and by phone when they have opted in to phone dispatch. If ABC calls and the member does not answer, the follow-up is sent by email — never by marketing text message.
Every email ABC sends includes an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops non-essential mail; essential booking and dispatch notifications for active jobs continue.
6. Data retention
Request and appointment records are kept while a Chamber's subscription is active so leadership can see its community impact. If a Chamber cancels, its dashboard and records become unavailable after the paid period ends and are deleted within 90 days. Residents may ask for their request data to be deleted at any time by writing to the ABC team.
7. Security and access
Access to resident and member data is limited to the ABC staff who operate the service and, within a Chamber, only to that Chamber's authorized leadership. Staff access to any Chamber's dashboard is logged. ABC employees view Chamber dashboards only to support that Chamber, never to solicit its members.
8. Your choices
Members control whether they receive bookings at all — a member is only contacted after they (or their Chamber) turn bookings on, and they can turn bookings off at any time. Residents may ask what information ABC holds about them, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, or decline further contact. Requests can be sent to the ABC team.
9. Changes to this policy
ABC may update this policy as the service evolves. Material changes will be emailed to each Chamber's billing contact, and the updated policy is always available on this page.
